You are responsible for designing transmitters, receivers, and Antennas in the 800MHz to 8GHz range, while contributing directly to Zebra's future technology roadmap. In this hands-on role you will have the ability to innovate at the cutting edge of location technology and actively generate high-impact patents.Come join us!\nThis role requires a minimum of 3-days per week in our Holtsville, NY (Long Island) office, 2 days remote (US).\nJob Responsibilities:\nRF Receiver, Transmitter, and Antenna design, analysis and product integration.\nConducts RF system implementation throughout a product design cycle.\nDesigns Power Supplies, and other supporting circuits.\nHandles part selection, prototyping, factory bring up and lab bench debug and root cause analysis.\nWorks with internal cross-functional teams and external JDM/CMs to successfully bring RFID products to market.\nSupports EMI/EMC trouble shooting and validation.\nArchitects, designs, and supports development, and testing of RF design solutions to several highly- complex technical projects.\nCreates specifications and provides input for product requirements.\nContributes to technology roadmap process.\nPrioritizes quality and seeks out improvements in all aspects of the RF projects.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience or Master's degree and 4+ years' experience\nExperience with board level RF circuit design required\nMust have RF Impedance Matching experience and understanding of Smith Chart for RF Design\nExperience with Antenna design and measurements required\nMust be familiar with VNA’s, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters.\nMust have some design experience with Class A/AB Power Amplifiers (up to 5W)\nAbility to work hands on (direct testing/troubleshooting/matching/soldering) required\nExperience with RF Simulation Software (i.e. ADS/CST) required\nPreferred Requirements:\nFamiliarity with Power Supply Regulator design as it pertains to RF Circuits/Power Amplifiers\nPrior knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout viewer (for layout reviews)\nRF design experience in the 800MHz to 8GHz range\nRF Design experience for UHF RFID Readers a big plus\nFamiliar with RF Receiver design and measurements.\nRF System level design experience(RFID, UWB)\nExperience with ADS, CST, Cadence design tools\nExperience with WWAN/BLE/Wi-Fi/LoRa/GPS RF design\nUp to 10% domestic and/or international travel may be required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nZebra is an equal opportunity employer.
