Ensure uniform architecture and design standards are maintained \nMonitor and facilitate a secure cloud environment that follows the best practices around least privileged and zero trust. Ensure all cloud environments have the proper security and access controls in place to guarantee a trusted and secure environment. Address vulnerability concerns whenever possible.\nManages access control, data integrity and file system security for theclouddata center environmentfollowing RBAC model and principals of least privilege and zero trustsecurity.to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of systems.\nMonitor cloud costs across all environments and deploy best practices around FinOps to strive towards cost optimization and accurate cost visibility.\nDevelop and enforce best practicesarchitecture, deployment, monitoring, and security to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of systems.\nManages, tracks and records system performance and utilization metrics.\nManages the communication behind highly technical information to both technical andnontechnical personnel.\nPromote strong collaboration withbusiness development teams,Includingdata engineering,IT Teams andSecurityto align cloud solutions with business goals.\nConduct research/POC on relevant emerging technologies in support of solution development efforts and make recommendations \nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, workflows, and operational procedures.\nMentor and guide junior and senior engineers, fostering technical growth and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.\nEnsure compliance with operational SLAs, security standards, and industry best practices.\nContribute to the design and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud environments.\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n8 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with at least 2-3 years in advanced cloud-native development or architecture.\n Key Skills and Competencies:\nExpertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.\nProficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, PowerShell).\nAdvanced understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nDemonstrated experience in designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud architectures.\nSolid understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.\nIndustry-recognized certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nZebra is an equal opportunity employer.
