In this role, you will work closely with senior engineering leadership to manage, maintain, and automate our day-to-day cloud operations and deployment pipelines across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).The ideal candidate has strong foundational skills in Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and CI/CD automation, along with a strong drive to troubleshoot issues, maintain system reliability, and streamline developer workflows.\n1. Day-to-Day Cloud & Infrastructure Maintenance\nSupport and maintain multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and performance.\nManage cloud resource provisioning, tagging, cost hygiene, and routine hygiene tasks (cleaning up orphaned disks, unused IPs, obsolete snapshots).\nAssist in user access management, role provisioning (IAM/RBAC), and adherence to least-privilege security policies.\n2. CI/CD & Release Support\nMaintain and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).\nAssist development teams with daily builds, staging rollouts, production deployments, and rollback procedures.\nTroubleshoot build failures, deployment pipeline bottlenecks, and environment drift issues.\n3. Containerization & Orchestration\nSupport containerized workloads running on Docker and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE).\nAssist in rolling out Helm chart updates, ingress configurations, secrets management, and pod scaling policies.\n4. Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response\nMonitor platform health, logs, and alerts using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or ELK/OpenSearch.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and first-response triage for operational incidents, identifying root causes and escalating when necessary.\nAssist in running routine backup, restore, and disaster recovery verification checks.\n5. Automation & Scripting\nWrite and maintain modular Terraform configurations for infrastructure automation.\nCreate and maintain utility scripts in Bash or Python to automate repetitive operational tasks.\nRequired Technical Skills\nExperience: 2-4 years of dedicated hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles.\n Cloud Platforms: Hands-on operational experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and foundational familiarity with the others.\nOperating Systems & Networking: Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS), shell scripting (Bash), and core networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, DNS, VPN, NAT, Routing, Firewalls).\n Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Working experience with Terraform (creating modules, managing state files, and basic refactoring).\nContainers & Orchestration: Solid experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes administration (kubectl, Helm, pod lifecycle management).\nCI/CD: Experience maintaining automated deployment pipelines in tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.\nScripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash for task automation and API integrations.\nSoft Skills & Working Style\nStrong problem-solving aptitude and curiosity to learn across diverse cloud ecosystems.\nClear written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and incident updates.\nAbility to prioritize operational tickets and communicate blockers promptly.\nNice-to-Have\nCloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Azure Administrator AZ-104, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer).\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD).\nBenefits:\nWe understand the importance of work-life balance and wellbeing, which is why we offer flexibility for our teams including: hybrid work, adaptable hours, Summer Flex Fridays, Focus Fridays, and an annual companywide well-being day to promote revitalization and success.\nJob Posting Statement:\nTo protect candidates from falling victim to online fraudulent activity involving fake job postings and employment offers, please be aware our recruiters will always connect with you via @zebra.com email accounts.
