Responsible for operating power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers.Position: Forklift Operator, I\nLocation: Kenosha, WI\nSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM\nPay: $20.00 per hour \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerforms quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.\nMoves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.\nPerforms outbound staging and packing in accordance with site policies.\nExecutes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.\nLearns to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System\nMaintains inventory accuracy.\nHandles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.\nComplies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations\nCompletes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.\nUses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.\nCertification on powered industrial trucks sit down, dock stocker and powered pallet jacks.\nKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.\nCapable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.\nAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.\nPerforms activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements\nMinimum Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required\nMinimum Work Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment\nKey Skills and Competencies\nProficiency in operating industrial forklifts and other warehouse equipment including stand up reach, sit down order picker, and pallet jack.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nExperience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving and loading functions\nCertification in operating various type of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks) is a plus.\nWork for a company that cares, offers a growth environment, and a culture of respect, inclusion and recognition - our front-line workers have an average 7-year tenure!\nHealthcare, Dental & Vision, Tuition Reimbursement\n401k with Company Match\nQuarterly Cash Incentive Opportunity\nAccrue 20 Days a year of PTO\n2 Floating Holidays and Paid Volunteer Time Off\nAnnual Shoe Allowance and free Company Apparel\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nZebra is an equal opportunity employer.
