The Maintenance Technician works with both internal and external resources to resolve equipment failures to ensure that down time is limited and equipment is performing as intended. This role will also collaborate with various functional areas to identify and improve equipment and/or processes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nConduct preventative maintenance on all machines and equipments. \nTroubleshoot and finds permanent solutions to reoccurring equipment issues. \nMaintains and performs lock out / tag out \nConducts monthly inspection of eye wash center, fire extinguisher, and housekeeping audits. \nWill be required to place orders for machine parts and tools. \nMaintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment, grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. \nElectrical systems, including lighting, circuits, and equipment \nWater supply, drains, pipes and appliances \nPneumatic air supply, including air compressor \nMaterial handling equipment, such as lift trucks and racking\nOffice furniture and office partition systems \nPerforms other duties as assigned\n Preferred & Desirable Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)\n Flexographic Industry Experience: Previous experience working in a label, ribbon, or tag manufacturing plant (Flexographic conversion industry) .\nMark Andy Machinery: Hands-on experience with the maintenance, timing, and mechanical calibration of Mark Andy flexographic printing presses (e.g., Performance Series, 2200, or Evolution).\n LOTO & OSHA Knowledge: Certified or highly experienced in Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and general OSHA safety regulations\nJob Requirements\nPreferred Education: High School or equivalent\nPreferred Work Experience (years): 1-2 years\nKey Skills and Competencies:\n HVAC systems experience\nAbility to perform pipefitting work on water, gas and\npneumatic systems\nAbility to locate and install new plant equipment,\nincluding all electrical, pipe fitting, rigging, and millwright\nwork\nAbility to use power tools and hand tools to perform\nmechanical installations\nAbility to wear required safety equipment\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and\nblueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic\nmechanical systems\nAbility to work independently on projects\n Preferred & Desirable Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Flexographic Industry Experience: Previous experience working in a label, ribbon, or tag manufacturing plant (Flexographic conversion industry) .\nMark Andy Machinery: Hands-on experience with the maintenance, timing, and mechanical calibration of Mark Andy flexographic printing presses (e.g., Performance Series, 2200, or Evolution).\n LOTO & OSHA Knowledge: Certified or highly experienced in Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and general OSHA safety regulations\nBenefits:\nWe understand the importance of work-life balance and wellbeing, which is why we offer flexibility for our teams including: hybrid work, adaptable hours, Summer Flex Fridays, Focus Fridays, and an annual companywide well-being day to promote revitalization and success.\nJob Posting Statement:\nTo protect candidates from falling victim to online fraudulent activity involving fake job postings and employment offers, please be aware our recruiters will always connect with you via @zebra.com email accounts.
