The team works closely with the product development engineers to improve DFx (Design for Assembly/Manufacturing) and ensure high quality and high yield production in the factory.This role develops and implements process improvements to existing products to support cost reduction goals and Lean Six Sigma/Industry 4.0 implementation as well.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCandidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to access and plan his/her schedule according to business priorities\nReviews the readiness of NPI manufacturing including documentations, fixtures, equipment and manpower. Recommends corrective actions and implements changes when issue happens. Identifies and mitigates risks, develops and implements risk mitigation plans\nLeader of Lean Six Sigma and Smart Factory implementation at our JDM/EMS supplier side during NPI stage\nEstablishes requirements for highly complex manufacturing projects and may lead a team responsible for establishing requirements. Completes all phases of the projects. Follows through on all in-process and final inspection activities\nDevelops and applies technical and quality improvements\nCreates new programs, technologies and solutions based on novel or unique ideas. Insures new ideas and methodologies are documented for use by teams\nUses status as a knowledge leader in manufacturing and functional knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines and program management to provide technical leadership to a given program\nDefines requirements for and may design complex new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of complex problems\nInitiates cross-company collaboration and develops positive relationships with other engineering disciplines\nExercises judgment (within broadly defined policies and practices) in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results\nMay coordinate the activities of other personnel\nNetworks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
