We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber Advanced Product Owner to help lead this mission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of a project in Scrum. The product owner is responsible for managing and optimizing the product backlog in order to maximize the value of the product and ensure product vision is met. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most important, we need a product owner who can help us build better products that people love to use.Objectives of this role\nLead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, effectively communicating with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.\nDevelop a deep understanding of Zebra's products, competitive landscape, and customer needs to align the product roadmap with strategic business goals.\nWork closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain the product backlog according to business value, ROI, and customer impact.\nAct as a highly collaborative bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment on requirements, timelines, and technical constraints.\nStay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and Agile/Scrum best practices to continually elevate team velocity and product quality.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the communication link between the customer, product manager, and development team. Be the ultimate embodiment of and advocate for the customer's voice inside the development team.\nAssess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy. \nBuild and set production process priorities to ensure the development team focuses on high-impact items.\nWork closely with development teams to oversee new product development, validating that development is exactly on spec and mitigating roadblocks to achieve sprint/release goals.\nDrive innovation by identifying and leveraging emerging technologies (including AI and machine learning) to create competitive differentiation in our product offerings.\nActively participate in all team meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure the development process follows the ratified product roadmap. \nProvide constructive feedback to Product Managers to continuously refine this roadmap.\nServe as a product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge, answering questions, and supporting product launches by providing a comprehensive understanding of the value proposition.\nMentor and guide junior team members and peers, sharing Agile best practices, industry knowledge, and product expertise.\nRequired skills and qualifications\n10 + years of experience in product development, product ownership, or a closely related field.\nDeep expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks and tools, including extensive experience operating within Scrum.\nPractical experience utilizing AI-driven tools to accelerate and improve effeciency.\nOutstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.\nAbility to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders and maintain strong business acumen and customer orientation.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions that balance customer needs with business goals.\n Preferred skills and qualifications\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related discipline; Advanced Degree is a plus.\nProficiency with applicable project management tools and technology\nBenefits:\nWe understand the importance of work-life balance and wellbeing, which is why we offer flexibility for our teams including: hybrid work, adaptable hours, Summer Flex Fridays, Focus Fridays, and an annual companywide well-being day to promote revitalization and success.\nJob Posting Statement:\nTo protect candidates from falling victim to online fraudulent activity involving fake job postings and employment offers, please be aware our recruiters will always connect with you via @zebra.com email accounts.
