Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from regional distribution centers, product life cycle, quality and special customer requirements and/or projects. The team cooperates with are Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams. The Supply Chain Planner has a key role in the team. Besides standard materials planning responsibilities, this person is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of materials management processes and project management work.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupport and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within region.\nPlan and develop supply schedule to keep sufficient inventory positions to support material requirements of internal or external customers.\nRegularly review and adjust demand plan with internal stakeholders. \nApplies Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, transportation, and order-management errors.\nMonitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with Demand planners/Global Planners to resolve demand relevant issues.\nEscalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolution.\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross functional stakeholders to confirm production / shipping schedules.\nPerform ad-hoc analysis as needed.\nParticipate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred\nWork Experience: 2+ years of experience; International Supply Chain experience is service and/or manufacturing is a plus\nKey Skills and Competencies:\nAbility to organize and prioritize work\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nOracle knowledge a plus \nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel\nBenefits:\nWe understand the importance of work-life balance and wellbeing, which is why we offer flexibility for our teams including: hybrid work, adaptable hours, Summer Flex Fridays, Focus Fridays, and an annual companywide well-being day to promote revitalization and success.\nJob Posting Statement:\nTo protect candidates from falling victim to online fraudulent activity involving fake job postings and employment offers, please be aware our recruiters will always connect with you via @zebra.com email accounts.
