Provides leadership and guidance on effective operation of the CMMS system.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nWorks cohesively with operations and maintenance department to coordinate project needs and schedules within the facility. \nMaintain and enter planned information into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Provide or review planning and scheduling metrics and understand impact on processes. Help implement and make sure all equipment repairs are tracked properly and done in a timely manner. \nCommunicates regularly with all necessary personnel to ensure efficient maintenance and repair work. \nCoordinate parts availability and maintain parts inventory. \nAssist with development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules. \nAssist all other employees and departments as required for efficient plant operation.\nProvides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.\nAbides by all safety, health, environmental and food/feed safety policies, and procedures. \nMaintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEducation and Experience:\nEducation: High School or Equivalent\nExperience: 3-5 years experience in the maintenance and /or operation of a process manufacturing facility or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of plant maintenance is preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of plant equipment and safety.\nKnowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.\nKnowledge and ability to use CMMS.\nAbility to adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.\nAbility to build relationships with internal and external customers.\nAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and senior level management. \nAbility to maintain good attendance habits. \nAbide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.\nAbide by company’s safety, quality, environmental and HR policies at all times.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nFrequently required to walk, stand, sit. \nFrequently required to climb to levels of 125 feet or more, confined, and harnessed. Use of stairs and ladders are required. \nOccasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more. \nOperate in an office and production environment. Production environment could include frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
