Make a difference, come join the team!\nLocation: Dublin, CA\nSchedule: The first three months will be Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The schedule will then transition to the swing shift, Monday-Friday, 1:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.\nWhat’s the role?\nThis job role executes manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and identify defects. Key responsibilities include executing test cases based on requirements, reporting issues, and collaborating with developers to ensure software quality and reliability before release.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms functions associated with manufacturing operations, including assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repair of high precision electromechanical assemblies and products.\nAcceptance, QA testing and rework of components and assemblies in collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing engineers.\nExecute source processing and final test using automated scripts\nCollect, evaluate and log data using software programs (i.e. Python and MATLAB) to ensure the optimization of products and processes\nDetermine and assist in developing methods, processes, and procedures to control, modify and improve the manufacturing process\nTrain other technicians when applicable, in the assembly and testing of assemblies in a productive team environment\nAlignment, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical assemblies\nAbility to read drawings, redline procedures and communicate clearly with teammates\nOther duties as required\nDo you qualify?\nB.S. with 2+ years’ experience (preferred) in a related field or 8+ years as a skilled technician in a related field\nExperience in the following areas preferred:\nClean room environment and protocols\nHigh vacuum assemblies\nHigh precision manufacturing\nKanban and Lean manufacturing\nMicroscopes, lasers, and precision machining tools\nWorking knowledge of MS Office and current Windows systems\nGenerating, reading and red-lining assembly procedures and schematic diagrams based on your own and engineering feedback.\nAbility to work alone using own initiative and decision-making skills\nWorking effectively within a small team environment\nPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Steel toes shoes will be required. \nThe annual pay range for this position is $68,000 - $85,000\nThe pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.\nThis position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
