Make a difference, come join the team!\nUnder close supervision (Warehouse Clerk II, performs a variety of manual, clerical and computer tasks relate d to stock replenishment, order picking, packing, and shipping of Zeiss products to meet customer and Zeiss specifications.\nThis is an intermediate level position. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of manual, clerical and computer related to stock replenishment, order picking, packing and shipping of company’s product to meet customer and company’s specifications. Maintains documentation of goods shipped and received and monitors inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels. Follows SOP. This job level will be proficient in a minimum of 3 areas (picking, receiving, replenishment, consolidation, shipping, order cycle counts, fork lifts and inventory).\nGuidance from Lead or Supervisor is readily available.\nSounds Interesting?\nHere's what you'll do:\nCompile and fill customer orders.\nReceive and stock inventory.\nParticipate in physical inventory counts to verify product levels.\nCycle count and investigate inventory daily.\nPick, pack, and ship products according to specifications.\nPerform SAP and other data entry functions.\nMaintain routine paperwork and documentation.\nInterface with other Warehouse Clerks and departmental staff to share and coordinate workload.\nInteract and share information with other departments, including Customer Service, Supply Chain Management.\nRe-pack lenses.\nMaintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with 6S guidelines.\nWork within guidelines of basic lean initiatives, while preventing waste.\nParticipate in on-site lean initiatives and training.\nPerform additional task as directed\nPerform other duties assigned\nDo you qualify?\n1 year warehouse experience\nPreferred 1-3 years warehouse experience\nEffective communication\nStrong initiative and follow-up skills\nTime management skills\nAbility to multi-task\nRequires the ability to lift up to50 lbs, stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb, reach, crouch, operate a forklift and pallet jack, and perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
