In this role, you will shape the performance of our operations site - working closely with upper management and external strategic partners and driving change through your insights, ideas, and drive for continuous improvement. We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and forward-thinking Financial Analyst who strengthens our operational backbone and accelerates smarter, faster decision-making across the site.\nSound Interesting?\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nLead Financial Reporting & Business Partnering\nPrepare and present monthly financial statements, forecasts, and reports to Upper Management. \nConduct cost and variance analyses and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations. \nEnsure financial accuracy through journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance with ZEISS reporting standards. \nDrive automation to simplify processes and streamline reporting with central Finance and local partners. \nPartner with our business colleagues to implement cost-avoidance and productivity measures. \nDrive Budgeting & Performance Management\nPrepare and coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments. \nSupport KPI dashboards, scorecards, and data-driven performance discussions. \nLeverage analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. \nImplement automation and AI to simplify finance processes \nOptimize Inventory & Strengthen Operational Excellence\nMonitor inventory levels, turnover, and stock efficiency. \nCollaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to improve inventory utilization. \nShare insights and global best practices across our manufacturing network. \nIdentify workflow inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.\nDo you qualify?\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus. \n2 years of finance experience (preferably FP&A) within healthcare, diagnostics, or manufacturing. \nAffinity for business and production processes and shop-floor realities. \nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and MS Office; SAP is a plus. \nExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills - including translating complex data into clear messages and recommendations. \nKnowledge of IFRS or US GAAP; experience with tax filings or fixed assets is beneficial. \nA proactive, curious mindset with a drive to simplify processes and support operational improvement. \nWe have amazing benefits to support you as an employee at ZEISS!\nMedical\nVision\nDental\n401k Matching\nEmployee Assistance Programs\nVacation and sick pay \nThe list goes on! \nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for this job.
