Support the troubleshooting and continuous improvement of hardware and software components\nDevelop, read, and adapt Python code for test automation, device control, data acquisition, and data analysis\nSupport hands-on laboratory activities, including prototype assembly and the handling of small, sensitive components of the eye implant\nContribute to the design and adaptation of prototype components and test fixtures using Creo Parametric\nEvaluate and document test results in a clear and structured manner.\nConduct scientific and technical literature research\nYour Profile\nOngoing studies in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.\nProgramming experience in Python and the ability to understand, modify, and develop existing code\nBasic knowledge of sensors, actuators, measurement systems, electronics, or data-acquisition systems\nInterest in combining software development, hardware integration, and experimental testing\nWillingness to perform hands-on laboratory and prototyping work.\nStructured and analytical approach to experimental work and data evaluation\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset\nClear and structured written communication skills for technical reports and presentations\nFluent English\nAbility to work on site in Berlin\nExperience with Creo Parametric or other CAD software\nKnowledge of finite element modeling, preferably using Ansys.\nExperience with automated test setups or laboratory equipment\nExperience connecting Python applications to sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, or measurement equipment\nPrevious experience in prototyping, mechanical assembly, or experimental device development\nSounds exciting?
