With 2200+ employees and continued investments over 25 years in India, ZEISS’ success story in India is continuing at a rapid pace.\nFurther information at ZEISS India.\nMain Accountabilities\nAreas of Expertise\nThrough knowledge of Utilities Operation and Maintenance, Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of the Production and Utility Equipment’s, DG Synchronizing Panels, Transformers, Electrical installations, HVAC systems, STP, ETP and WTP etc.\nDiagnosing faults, leading repair efforts to minimize downtime, and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.\nProvide technical expertise, manage contractor support, ensure safety compliance, and update maintenance documentation to restore operational efficiency rapidly.\nUnderstand how to keep mechanical and electrical systems running efficiently.\nBe able to understand the circuit diagrams, trace the problem, service, troubleshoot, and repair machines.\nKnow how to optimize maintenance procedures to improve machine performance \nBe proficient in using maintenance software and other computer systems\nKnowledge of Prepare blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.\nEnsure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.\nShould Develop maintenance policies and procedures and responded to maintenance requests.\nMonitor maintenance and inspection plans.\nAble to read the drawings & engineering specifications and tolerances.\nShould be able to prepare and give presentations using MS presentations and have a good knowledge of Excel and MS word\nThorough knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, PM adherence targets as KPI’s and able to meet the KPI’s defined for the department.\nAble to Read, write electrical circuit diagrams, SLD’s\nAble to work on PLC programming, creating ladder diagrams in PLC’s, Trouble shooting the PLC program etc.\nMust have knowledge on building management systems, Business continuity plan, Emergency preparedness and so on.\nKnowledge on 5S, Gemba, Continual improvement projects, LEAN concepts, root cause analysis using quality tools.\nKnowledge of MIS reporting for critical parameters like energy, water, and waste to meet department objectives for the KPI’s.\n\nRequirements and skills\n Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word and presentation.
