Due to continued development within the Supply Chain function, we are looking to recruit two Material Planners to support our Electron Microscopy business in Cambourne.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production, while balancing inventory levels and mitigating supply chain risks.\nWhat you'll be doing\nManaging material planning activities across a range of products and planning areas\n\nReviewing demand forecasts and production requirements to ensure material availability\n\nMonitoring MRP outputs and identifying potential shortages or supply risks\n\nWorking closely with Purchasing, Production and Logistics teams to resolve material issues\n\nSupporting inventory optimisation and working capital objectives\n\nManaging material requirements through product introductions, engineering changes and product transitions\n\nAnalysing planning data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement\n\nContributing to a proactive and collaborative planning environment\n\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're keen to speak with candidates from manufacturing, engineering or technical production environments who have experience planning materials, components or production requirements.\nYou may currently be working as a:\nMaterial Planner\n\nMaterials Planner\n\nProduction Planner\n\nSupply Planner\n\nManufacturing Planner\n\nMaterials Controller\n\nTo be successful, you'll ideally have:\nExperience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment\n\nStrong understanding of MRP and material planning principles\n\nExperience using SAP or a similar ERP/MRP planning system\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nExperience managing inventory, shortages and material availability\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills\n\nA structured approach and strong attention to detail\n\nDesirable Experience\nAerospace, defence, industrial engineering, scientific instrumentation or other complex manufacturing environments\n\nPower BI, Excel or data analysis tools\n\nNPI,
