ZEISS consists of four segments: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Quality & Research, Medical Technology and Consumer Markets.\nThis exciting new role will include both administration and some physical inventory management.\nWhat you’ll be doing.\nPerforming the reconciliation of the C79 certificate and Postponed VAT statement, ensuring the necessary documents are available (C88, commercial invoice) to evidence this\n\nContacting delivery companies and customs brokers to obtain missing documentation and where necessary advise on amendments\n\nFollow-up on customs records to ensure correct “importer of record” and import VAT charged to correct party\n\nFind and correct import entries that are incorrectly allocated to Carl Zeiss Ltd\n\nEnsure Carl Zeiss Limited’s import VAT is only for imports on behalf of Carl Zeiss Ltd\n\nResolving day-to-day customs queries to the correct place\n\nManage calibration (ZEISS and 3rd party), sending to and from calibrators, quotes/POs, recording inbound, allocating and sending to FSEs\n\nManage FSE PPE/ consumables/ Tools/ Work wear/Engineer stickers/FSE address management\n\nEngineer returns - provide 24hr turnaround of UPS labels - adding parts to returns list\n\nSupport Supply Chain and Logistics during busy periods\n\nAny other ad-hoc support for the team as required\n\nNew Field Service Engineer Induction (service support processes)\n\nGenerate monthly stock reports for engineers\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nHave MS Office experience\n\nBe Self-motivated\n\nBe Organised\n\nAble to work independently\n\nHave a Confident telephone manner\n\nHave SAP Enterprise Resource Planning “ERP” experience\n\nCustomer focus, collaboration, ensuring accountability and results and effective communication are especially important in this role\n\nWe want you!\nWith motivation and passion, you’ll fit right in at ZEISS!\nWe’re looking for people who are empathetic and passionate, who are committed to achieving their goals, and who get excited about challenging topics.
