During the proposal preparation phase, IT-related and economic risks must be examined and clarified. Availability, reliability, and security must be verified, and additional developments clarified. Any discrepancies between the requirements specification and the proposal descriptions must be resolved with the customer.\nFor large-scale projects, project structures must be defined and organizational charts designed. Schedules with contractual milestones must be created and coordinated. Project controlling must be ensured. Work packages must be defined, agreed upon, and approved (e.g., defining the scope of delivery, delineating deliveries, setting target costs and deadlines, defining and stipulating conditions). The project launch must be planned and executed, and project participants identified. Interfaces, deadlines, and deliverables must be coordinated with contractual partners. Interim results must be reviewed against milestones in the project timeline, and corrective actions, if necessary, clarified with customers, contractual partners, suppliers, and internal departments and adapted to the project status and progress. Economic targets and contractual obligations must be reviewed and ensured.\nSelect and professionally manage employees as project participants, taking into account their suitability and qualifications.\nComplete projects & programs on time / in quality and within agreed budget.\nProvide follow-up support for already completed projects in the sense of 2nd level support.\nParticipation in the creation of IT architectures for new or modifications of existing E2E processes across different IT platforms and IT applications.\nMaintaining contact with our strategic logistics and IT partners for all ZEISS SBUs and SSCs together with the respective departments.\nClarification of necessary legal framework conditions in terms of tax and customs regulations with the respective departments and management consultancies working for ZEISS\n Key Requirements\nUniversity degree in logistics, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a comparable international field of study\n\nfive years of professional experience in the SCM environment of an internationally operating company is required\n\nHigh intrinsic motivation for the successful implementation of projects and programs\n\nCertifications in the SAP SCM modules\n\nComprehensive knowledge of project management\n\nIT expertise in relevant supply chain management processes\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nPossess a background in Lean Management principles for streamlining processes\n\nWilling to travel 30% of time\n\nStrong interpersonal skills\n\nExcellent English language
