Make a difference, come join the team!\nLocation/Region: This position owns the Southern California Region and must be a reasonable commuting distance to the Santa Ana facility. \nThe Regional Sales Manager represents Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology, LLC in the planned and aggressive selling of Company products within the territory assigned pursuant to yearly sales goals and objectives, working with our sales distribution channels in educating and facilitating opportunities to maintain, develop and grow our current customer base of metrology products within the assigned region.\n What’s the role?\nRepresent the Company in product demonstrations, training and presentations on all equipment and configurations to customers and potential customers within the confines of the assigned territory. \nEstablish and maintain a Distribution Channel capable of achieving set yearly goals. \nSupervise, train and develop a competent distributor sales and technical staff in a manner which will lead to profitable sales growth. Increase product margins. \nAssist in generating timely quotations to customers/potential customers in assigned territory. \nProcess and distribute sales leads generated from trade shows and other promotional product literature. \nEvaluate sales activities, progress and results and take appropriate measures. \nDevelop short and long-term goals as to value, market position and profit on existing and new products. \nProvide National Sales Manager with sales/performance reports. \nProvide all pertinent information to the order processing and service groups to ensure satisfaction of customer requirements and prompt payment of account. \nFollow up with customers after delivery to complete all sales requirements and conditions. \nGuide and mentor the distributor sales representative to meet the set targets on time so that the overall sales objectives can be met as scheduled. \nDevelop a yearly regional sales plan and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales performance targets. \nEvaluate sales forecasting, activities and progress. \nDevelop short and long-term goals as to value, market position, and profit on existing and new products. \nStrategic planning of resources and opportunities. \nInterface with other key departments within the company (Production, Service, Engineering and Management). \nMust have good negotiation skills. \nOther duties as required. \nKey Metrics\nExternal indirect supervisory duties include motivating, educating and managing distributor sales representatives \nMeeting yearly sales targets \nManaging and reducing yearly expenses \nSupplying an accurate monthly sales forecast \nIncreasing \"state by state\" market share based on USMTO data \nKeeping the CRM (Act) sales opportunities and contacts current \nAbiding to the company’s policies and code of ethics \nDo you qualify?\nDetail-oriented and accurate worker. \nKnowledge of facility systems and their technical requirements. \nSkilled at maintaining files and records - both paper and electronic. \nFamiliar with the operation of a computer with a MS Windows operating system. \nHigh school diploma required. \nMust have valid US driver's license. \nThe annual pay range for this position is $87,000 - $108,000.
