Working with electronic hardware, mechanics, optics, software and systems engineering colleagues, you will help deliver secure, reliable solutions that meet performance, safety and regulatory expectations.\nDerive firmware and electronics requirements from system requirements and maintain the relevant technical specifications.\nDesign, implement, debug, optimize and release embedded software for medical-device components and systems.\nBuild rapid prototypes and conduct feasibility studies and technology-readiness evaluations.\nPlan and execute component-level verification, contribute to system verification, and resolve defects using structured root-cause analysis.\nCreate and maintain design documentation, interface documentation, source-code records and required lifecycle documentation.\nCollaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering on design transfer, production test concepts and sustaining activities.\nYour Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronic engineering, mechatronics or a closely related discipline.\nApproximately 3 to 5 years of relevant industrial experience for Engineer level, or 8+ years for Senior Engineer level.\nHands-on experience in embedded software or firmware development, debugging and release management.\nWorking knowledge of electronic hardware interfaces, component verification and version-control practices.\nClear communication and effective collaboration in cross-functional, international teams.\nIt would be desirable if you had\nExperience in regulated medical-device development.\nKnowledge of IEC 62304, cybersecurity documentation or safety-critical development.\nExperience with FPGA development, production test software or electronic prototyping.\nYour
