Your Role You will develop and optimize mechanical and opto-mechanical solutions for surgical microscopy systems. You will work with electronics, optics, software, systems engineering and Operations to deliver robust, manufacturable and reliable designs that meet performance, safety and regulatory targets. Design high-precision opto-mechanical structures, motion-transmission systems and ergonomic product solutions. Translate system needs into component requirements, concepts, detailed designs and verification plans. Perform engineering analyses such as tolerance, strength, thermal, space-envelope and risk assessments. Create 3D models, 2D drawings, bills of material and complete design documentation.
