Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will make the system verifiable, manufacturable and scalable.\nTake technical ownership of an externally developed actuator concept, a risk-mitigation prototype and its transfer into the machine\nProvide technical leadership to an interdisciplinary team of three to eight colleagues in mechanical, electrical, analysis and test engineering\nCoordinate the technical optimisation of mechanics, electronics, magnetics, thermal behaviour and dynamics within the actuator system\nMake technical decisions with a focus on performance, manufacturability, scalability and cost of goods\nIdentify and manage technical risks, conduct root cause analyses and implement appropriate mitigation measures\nPlan and lead technical reviews and verification activities at system, subsystem and component level\nSecure development knowledge from external partners for the internal organisation, including design rationale, verification methods and manufacturing knowledge\nCreate and review technical documentation in scientific English, including specifications, FMEAs, test plans, test reports and interface descriptions\nYour Profile\nYou hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline\nYou bring at least five years of experience in developing, integrating or technically leading complex mechatronic systems\nYou have hands-on experience with electromagnetic actuators, direct drives, voice coil motors or high-precision motion systems\nYou are proficient in FMEA, root cause analysis, verification, technical reviews and design-to-cost, and can confidently work with technical documentation and CAD drawings\nYou communicate confidently in English at C1 level;
