The individual will seek to continuously improve quality assurance by exploring new technologies, using modern test tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness, and increasing test automation coverage.\nIn addition to the regular testing responsibilities, the individual is expected to be self-driven and proactive in identifying and driving testing and automation initiatives. The role will provide technical guidance to the testing team, support the adoption of improved testing practices and tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall testing approach and capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Tasks & Deliverables)\nLead the planning and execution of testing activities across multiple projects.\n\nDefine testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.\n\nMentor junior testers and provide technical guidance and support.\n\nEstablish and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.\n\nAnalyze test results and provide insights to improve software quality.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.\n\nContinuously evaluate and adopt new testing technologies and approaches.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, effectiveness, and automation coverage, and proactively drive the implementation of these improvements.\n\nOwn and drive selected testing and automation initiatives, coordinating with relevant team members and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.\n\nAct as a technical point of contact within the testing team, supporting team members with test automation, tools, frameworks, troubleshooting, and best practices.\n\nContribute to defining and improving the team's technical testing approach, standards, and reusable solutions.\n\nShare technical knowledge and best practices with the testing team and support the adoption of new tools, technologies, and automation approaches.\n\nTake ownership of continuous improvement activities beyond day-to-day testing responsibilities and actively contribute to building a stronger and more efficient testing capability.\n\nEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nMore than 7+ years of extensive experience in software testing with expertise in manual and automated testing.\n\nProficiency in testing frameworks such as JUnit or Gherkin and tools like Postman and Azure DevOps.\n\nJavaScript and SQL basics for Postman tests and querying data are a plus.\n\nExperience in manual and automated UI testing, preferably with Playwright.\n\nStrong understanding of service-oriented software development in a .NET and cloud-based technology stack.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities, combined with the ability to derive meaningful test cases from requirements, issues, and defects.\n\nExperience in bug analysis and root-cause investigation.\n\nSelf-driven and proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improving testing and automation.\n\nAbility to independently drive testing or test automation initiatives from idea/concept through implementation and
