This is an exciting opportunity to work on applications that directly support scientific research and technological innovation, whilst gaining exposure to a broad range of software and system-level engineering challenges.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:\n• Developing and enhancing software for advanced microscopy and imaging systems • Working with C#, Windows-based technologies and desktop application development • Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving software and system-level issues • Collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver new product capabilities • Contributing to the continuous improvement of software quality, performance and user experience\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:\n• Experience developing software using C# and Microsoft technologies • Good understanding of Windows as a platform and how software interacts with operating systems and hardware • Exposure to low-level programming concepts, with knowledge of C or C++ being advantageous • A curious and proactive approach, with a genuine desire to learn and develop new skills • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI, automation and modern software development practices\nWE WANT YOU!\nWith motivation and passion, you'll fit right in at ZEISS!\nWe're looking for inquisitive software engineers who enjoy understanding how things work beneath the surface.
