department is one of the strategic units within Corporate IT and is responsible for Design, development & management of Billing, Licensing and Subscription Solutions as three central services across the ZEISS Group worldwide.\nYour Role\nAs a Software Engineer (Global Role) with 2-7 years, you are responsible for the development of the frontend using React for Licensing platform at Zeiss.\nYour key responsibilities:\nMust-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):\nSeveral years of hands-on experience developing React-based web applications\nStrong proficiency in C# / .NET for implementing backend services or backend-for-frontend logic\nSolid knowledge of RESTful APIs (request/response design, status codes, error handling)\nConfident handling of JSON for data exchange and integration between frontend and backend\nProven experience in designing user interfaces (structure, layout, interaction patterns) in collaboration with UX/design or product teams\nExperience working in agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban) using Git-based workflows and pull requests\nCore Technical Requirements:\nPractical experience building single-page applications with React (components, hooks, state management, and integrate with licensing services\nClose collaboration with backend, client, UX, and architecture teams to ensure consistent end-to-end user journeys for licensing workflows\nContinuous Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification\nSeveral years of professional experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer with React and C# /.NET\nProven experience delivering web applications and UIs in a corporate or product development environment\nExperience working in international, cross-functional teams\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and user-centric working style\nGood communication skills in English, both written and spoken\nSolid understanding of:\nModern React development practices (components, hooks, state and effect management, routing, basic performance optimization)\nUI and interaction design principles (layout, hierarchy, consistency, feedback, responsive behavior) for building intuitive and efficient user interfaces\nWorking with a design system such as Beyond UI (tokens, components, patterns) and applying it consistently\nREST API consumption and integration in
