You combine deep expertise in microsystems engineering with a broad understanding of electronics and packaging, and you are able to analyze and assess complex system interactions. As a central technical interface, you work within a development team closely with internal specialist functions as well as external development and manufacturing partners.\nYour role\nIn an interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for the design, specification, and further development of microsystems and subsystems across the entire development lifecycle.\n\nYou develop and evaluate system architectures, derive requirements, and ensure their coherent implementation.\n\nYou analyze interactions between microsystems, electronics, packaging, control, environmental conditions, and the overall system - with a particular focus on electro-mechanical interfaces.\n\nIn a functional interface role to suppliers and development partners, you steer and evaluate development contributions in terms of design, technology, performance, quality, and manufacturability.\n\nYou define modeling, simulation, characterization, and verification approaches, analyze deviations, and derive robust system solutions.\n\nYou prepare technology and architecture decisions, present them to stakeholders, and strengthen knowledge growth in microsystems engineering and adjacent disciplines.\n\nYour profile\nDegree in microsystems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field\n\nSeveral years of experience in development, system design, or integration of MEMS, ideally in collaboration with suppliers, foundries, or development partners\n\nSolid knowledge of operating principles, architectures, fabrication technologies, and system boundaries of microelectromechanical systems.
