You'll play a key role in bringing together software, electronics, vacuum technology, high-voltage systems and precision mechanics to deliver world-leading scientific instruments used by researchers and engineers across the globe.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:\n· Taking ownership of the system integration and validation of advanced electron microscopy systems · Coordinating activities across software, electronics, mechanical and systems engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery · Developing and managing system requirements, interface specifications, test plans and validation activities · Supporting the build of prototype instruments, resolving integration challenges and ensuring system reliability · Driving the technical implementation of complex projects whilst working closely with subject matter experts across multiple disciplines\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:\n· Experience within a Systems Engineering, System Integration or Technical Lead role involving complex products or equipment · Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems, ideally including vacuum technology products, scientific instrumentation or high-tech equipment · Experience working with the integration of software, electronics and mechanical systems within a complete product · Degree qualified in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline · Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to take ownership of challenging technical projects\n\nWE WANT YOU!\nWith motivation and passion, you'll fit right in at ZEISS!\nWe're looking for people who are empathetic and passionate, who are committed to achieving their goals, and who get excited about challenging topics.
