The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining scalable applications for the Charging Management System (CMS).\nThe candidate should have strong experience in REST API development, distributed systems, database design, and system integrations. Experience with EV charging protocols, particularly OCPP and OCPI, will be highly preferred.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrive end-to-end software development, from requirement analysis and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices predominantly using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.\nDevelop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS as required by the platform.\nBuild and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js, Material UI (MUI), JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between application components and external systems.\nImplement integrations with EV charging stations, charging networks, and external platforms using REST APIs and protocols such as OCPP and OCPI.\nDevelop and maintain charging-related workflows, including charge point registration, device status monitoring, charging sessions, meter values, and remote commands, as applicable to the product.\nSupport interoperability and data exchange between Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs).\nWork with TimescaleDB and other relational data stores to manage time-series data, charging telemetry, session records, and operational information.\nImplement efficient caching mechanisms and optimize data retrieval using Redis.\nIntegrate Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and retrieving operational and application data.\nWork with object storage solutions such as MinIO and Amazon S3 for application storage and retrieval workflows.\nOptimize database schemas, queries, indexes, and data access patterns to improve application performance and scalability.\nTroubleshoot API failures, protocol communication issues, backend bottlenecks, and production incidents.\nWrite and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests to ensure application reliability and code quality.\nConduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to architectural and technical design decisions.\nCollaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.\nSupport application deployment, monitoring, debugging, and maintenance across development, testing, and production environments.\nIdentify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nQualifications/Skills:\n4-7 years of relevant experience in software development, backend engineering, or full-stack development.\nStrong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, and backend application development.\nHands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.\nWorking proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS for backend development.\nExperience building frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Material UI (MUI).\nStrong understanding of REST API design, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and API security.\nExperience with relational databases, SQL, schema design, query optimization, and indexing.\nFamiliarity with time-series databases; hands-on experience with TimescaleDB is preferred.\nExperience with Redis for caching and Elasticsearch for search and indexing.\nFamiliarity with object storage solutions such as MinIO and Amazon S3.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and scalable application design.\nExperience integrating external systems through REST APIs and troubleshooting cross-system data exchange.\nKnowledge of WebSocket-based communication and real-time data processing is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Git, build tools, CI/CD
