Attendance in that window is required. Your remaining work is yours to schedule.\nCommitment: Approximately 50 hours per week\nIndustry: Healthcare technology experience is preferred but not mandatory\nCompensation: Competitive, based on demonstrated ability and experience\nAbout the Company\nZenara Health is a technology-oriented mental healthcare organization focused on enhancing accessibility and quality of mental wellness services. We integrate AI-driven platforms with professional clinical care to offer personalized and effective mental health solutions, fostering a seamless digital experience for both patients and providers. We are a startup, not merely a department.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an AI-native Full-Stack Software Engineer who understands that AI-assisted software development goes far beyond using Cursor, Claude Code, or other coding assistants.\nYou will use and build autonomous agentic development workflows - delegating complex tasks to agents, designing effective context and tool architectures, evaluating outputs, and creating reliable systems in which AI agents can plan, execute, test, and iterate.\nYou should also be a strong software engineer capable of making sound architectural decisions and delivering production-grade applications across the stack. You will work across product development, AI systems, cloud infrastructure, security, testing, and deployment.\nHere is the test. Are you someone who knows how to run a piece of work and get a product over the finish line? Could you build it yourself if you had to - but you get there faster with a team around you? We are not looking for a project manager who cannot code, and we are not looking for a coder who cannot run a project. We need both, in one person.\nThe difference in this role is who the team is. You will not be coordinating twenty engineers. You will be coordinating agents, and holding yourself to the same standard of delivery you would if they were people.\nThis is a hands-on role in a fast-moving startup. You will have meaningful ownership, work through ambiguity, learn quickly, and help shape both our product architecture and engineering culture.\nOur Software Factory Vision\nWe are building toward an AI-native software factory: an engineering system where coordinated swarms of specialized agents can translate product requirements into architecture, implementation, tests, security checks, documentation, deployments, and continuous improvements - with engineers providing direction, judgment, and governance.\nYou will help design and operate this software factory, including:\nAgent roles and responsibilities\nMulti-agent orchestration and delegation\nContext and memory architecture\nTool access and permission controls\nTesting and quality gates\nSecurity and compliance checks\nEvaluations, tracing, and observability\nHuman review and approval workflows\nFeedback loops for continuous improvement\nThe goal is not to eliminate engineering accountability. It is to enable a small, highly capable engineering team to deliver software with dramatically greater speed, quality, and consistency.\nAs you grow in this role, you will have the opportunity to lead this software factory and direct a swarm of autonomous development agents. You will increasingly operate as the technical leader of an intelligent delivery system - while remaining hands-on with architecture, engineering standards, and critical technical decisions.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack product features.\nDevelop AI-native applications and workflows using autonomous agents, LLMs, tools, APIs, retrieval systems, and structured data.\nBuild agentic systems that can plan and execute multi-step tasks with appropriate observability, evaluation, permissions, and human oversight.\nUse autonomous development agents to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review without compromising engineering quality.\nBuild and operate multi-agent workflows across product discovery, architecture, development, testing, security, deployment, and maintenance.\nDefine clear agent responsibilities, communication patterns, permissions, escalation paths, and quality gates.\nDesign robust backend services, APIs, data models, integrations, and modern frontend experiences.\nContribute to system architecture and make practical decisions involving scalability, reliability, security, cost, and maintainability.\nCreate evaluation frameworks and feedback loops for measuring agent quality, accuracy, reliability, and business impact.\nDevelop safeguards that prevent agents from introducing architectural drift, security vulnerabilities, unreliable code, or unnecessary complexity.\nImplement protections against AI-specific risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, excessive permissions, data leakage, and unreliable tool execution.\nMeasure the software factory's effectiveness using delivery speed, defect rates, test coverage, reliability, cost, and business outcomes.\nWork with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, logs, monitoring, secrets, environments, and production deployments.\nApply foundational cybersecurity practices across application development and infrastructure.\nCollaborate directly with founders, product stakeholders, customers, and other engineers.\nTake ownership from initial problem definition through production deployment and ongoing improvement.\nContinuously evaluate emerging agentic AI frameworks, models, protocols, and development practices.\nGradually take ownership of coordinating the agent swarm and shaping the next generation of our AI-native engineering organization.\nWhat We're Looking For\nApproximately 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.\nExperience owning delivery end to end, not only your own tasks. You have seen how a whole product goes together, you can plan and sequence the work, and you have carried something over the finish line. This matters as much as your coding ability - it is the half of the job that most engineers have never done.\nStrong full-stack development skills across: \nModern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or equivalent\nBackend development using Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies\nREST, GraphQL, event-driven, or asynchronous system integrations\nRelational and/or NoSQL databases\nStrong understanding of software architecture, API design, data modeling, testing, and production engineering.\nPractical experience building with LLMs or agentic AI systems - not only using AI coding assistants.\nUnderstanding of agentic AI concepts such as: \nTool use and function calling\nPlanning and multi-step execution\nAgent orchestration and delegation\nMulti-agent collaboration\nMemory and context management\nRetrieval-augmented generation\nStructured outputs and validation\nModel selection and routing\nEvaluations, tracing, and observability\nGuardrails and permission boundaries\nHuman-in-the-loop workflows\nAbility to assess AI-generated code critically and validate it through tests, reviews, security checks, and architectural reasoning.\nWorking knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, production monitoring, and deployment practices.\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including: \nAuthentication and authorization\nEncryption and secrets management\nSecure API design\nDependency and supply-chain security\nData privacy and access controls\nCommon web application vulnerabilities\nHigh ownership, curiosity, and comfort working in an ambiguous startup environment.\nA strong desire to remain at the cutting edge of agentic AI and AI-native software development.\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nAvailability for the required meeting overlap with US Pacific Time, and a commitment of approximately 50 hours per week.\nWhat \"AI-Native\" Means to Us\nFor this role, being AI-native means you can:\nDecompose complex engineering objectives into tasks that autonomous agents can plan and execute.\nDesign the context, tools, permissions, feedback loops, and verification mechanisms agents need to work reliably.\nCoordinate multiple specialized agents while maintaining architectural and product consistency.\nDetermine when an agent can act autonomously and when human review is required.\nEvaluate agent performance systematically rather than relying on impressive demonstrations.\nBuild reliable agent-powered product capabilities that work under real-world conditions.\nUse AI to increase engineering leverage while remaining accountable for quality, security, and outcomes.\nTreat agents as components of an engineering system - not simply as chat interfaces or code-generation tools.\nExperience with any specific model or framework is useful, but we value your ability to understand and apply the underlying principles more than expertise in one particular tool.\nNice to Have\nExperience in healthcare, health technology, clinical workflows, or regulated software environments.\nFamiliarity with healthcare data standards and requirements such as HIPAA, FHIR, HL7, PHI handling, auditability, or role-based access control.\nExperience with agent frameworks, orchestration systems, MCP, vector databases, or LLM observability and evaluation platforms.\nExperience building multi-agent systems or long-running autonomous workflows.\nExperience designing AI-based development workflows or internal engineering automation.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, serverless systems, or major cloud platforms.\nExperience with security reviews, threat modeling, compliance, or privacy-sensitive applications.\nPrevious experience working in an early-stage startup.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nWithin your first several months, you will:\nShip meaningful full-stack features into production.\nEstablish effective autonomous-agent workflows that improve engineering speed and quality.\nContribute to architectural decisions across application, AI, data, security, and infrastructure layers.\nImprove the reliability, security, and observability of our agentic systems.\nBuild repeatable workflows through which agents can implement, test, review, and document software.\nDemonstrate strong ownership of projects from initial idea to measurable production outcomes.\nHelp the team remain at the cutting edge without adopting technology purely for novelty.\nBegin taking meaningful ownership of the architecture and operation of our AI-native software factory.\nOver time, success in this role means becoming capable of leading a software delivery function powered by a coordinated swarm of autonomous agents - setting direction, enforcing engineering standards, reviewing critical decisions, and continuously improving the system's speed and reliability.\nSchedule\nMeetings and live collaboration take place between approximately 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM IST, overlapping US Pacific working hours. Attendance in that window is required.\nOutside that window, you decide when you work. We care about output, reliability, and being reachable when the team needs you - not clock-in times. The role carries a commitment of approximately 50 hours per week, and availability is expected during critical deployments and incidents.\nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive compensation, based on demonstrated ability and experience\nFully remote work\nEquipment allowance\nLocal public holidays\nFlexible paid time off\nDirect and regular access to the founders, without intermediaries\nWhat You Can Expect\nSignificant ownership and direct influence over product and technical direction.\nHands-on exposure to cutting-edge autonomous and agentic AI development.\nThe opportunity to help build an AI-native software factory from the ground up.\nA...","description_format":"text","description_chars":13192,"description_truncated":true,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Medical AI","Psychiatric Care"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-12T22:11:29Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":76,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.843,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":82,"expected_fill_days":225,"reasons":["conf:3","velocity","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-11-03T05:54:40Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/zenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/zenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-03T11:33:32Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":15764,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-04T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":689103},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=689103"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fzenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fzenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fzenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/zenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fzenarahealth-ai-native-full-stack-software-engineer-technical-project-manager"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":841570}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"zenarahealth.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":841570},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
