With significant growth and expansion across the UK and US, our entrepreneurial culture suits people who thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership and are comfortable building and evolving as we scale\nAs Night Shift Manager, you will take full ownership of the warehouse operation throughout the night shift, leading the replenishment, forklift, picking and packing teams.\nThis is a hands-on management role with responsibility for ensuring stock is replenished and available in the correct locations, outbound orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently, and the warehouse is left fully prepared for the following day's operation.\nYou will be the senior operational point of contact during the night, responsible for resource allocation, productivity, quality, safety and service performance. You will be expected to make decisions, resolve issues quickly and escalate anything that could materially impact customers or the wider operation.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the complete night-shift warehouse operation across replenishment, forklift, picking and packing. \nLead, motivate and develop the night-shift team. \nAllocate labour and move resources between functions based on workload and operational priorities. \nEnsure pick locations are replenished throughout the night and ready for the following day's operation. \nManage the forklift team and ensure safe and efficient stock movements. \nOwn picking and packing productivity, accuracy and quality. \nMonitor order volumes and backlog, taking action to protect customer SLAs and service levels. \nEnsure all agreed outbound work is completed within required timescales. \nUse the WMS and operational data to manage workload, productivity and performance. \nIdentify and resolve stock, system and operational issues. \nManage attendance, performance, standards and conduct across the shift. \nEnsure all health and safety procedures are followed. \nMaintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse. \nAct as the senior escalation point for operational issues during the night. \nProvide a clear, data-led handover to the day operation covering performance, outstanding work, risks and actions. \nRequirements\nPrevious warehouse, fulfilment or logistics management experience. \nExperience managing multiple warehouse functions and teams. \nStrong understanding of replenishment, stock movements, picking and packing. \nExperience managing forklift/MHE operations advantageous. \nStrong WMS knowledge and comfortable using operational data to manage performance. \nConfident managing a warehouse operation without senior management physically present. \nStrong people-management, communication and problem-solving skills. \nBias to action and comfortable making operational decisions independently. \nStrong focus on productivity, accuracy, service and safety. \nBenefits\nShift: 10:00pm - 8:00am \nPattern: 4 days per week \nSalary: £45,000 to £55,000 DOE \n10% Performance Bonus \n32 days holiday including bank holidays \nCompany pension scheme \nCareer development and ongoing training opportunities \nSupportive and collaborative work culture","description_format":"text","description_chars":3433,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Logistics","Warehousing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-22T02:26:51Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-28T09:24:12Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":72858,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/zendbox-night-shift-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/zendbox-night-shift-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T18:56:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1195,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3805,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
