Your primary responsibilities include understanding the customer’s business needs, consulting them on Zendesk best practices, documenting their overall goals, and ensuring the project execution fulfils these goals.\nAs a Data Migration Technical Architect, you will work on a cross-functional global team consisting of Project Managers and Data Engineers within the Zendesk Professional Services organisation. You need to be self-motivated and able to work on multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities to bring your projects to completion.\nIn this role, you will become an expert on Zendesk data imports, data exports, and configuration replications!\nResponsibilities:\nUnderstand, document, and implement customer requirements according to scope. Ask questions and dig into the customer’s use case, capture the business problem we are solving together, and finally craft their Zendesk instance to ensure the customer's success.\nHelp Zendesk customers understand standard methodologies in migrating their data\nActively collaborate with customers in mapping their data structures into Zendesk\nHandle migration projects from start to finish\nCollaborate with developers who are performing the migrations\nCommunicate & forecast resource needs over the course of multi-week projects\nEnsure platform data services work is completed on time and on budget while supporting the Professional Services delivery team\nBecome a domain specialist in Zendesk Platform Data Services\nHelp shape, refine, and document the processes involved in migrations\nRequirements:\nBachelor of Computer Engineering with 8+ years of Data Migration Architect experience\nExtensive experience working directly with customers.\nExperience with various architectures (Web, Enterprise, SaaS) \nExperience with Python, SQL, RESTful and JSON API implementation and integration approaches\nGood understanding of ETL, data management and transformations\nExcellent instincts and ability to interface at a senior level with ease\nOutstanding communication, interpersonal, and writing skills\nPassionate about customer service and how it can transform businesses\nStrong organisational skills and an ability to multitask under pressure\nNice to Have:\nProject Management Skills\n2+ years of experience in Professional Services \nExperience with Zendesk configuration, implementation approaches, and App Framework and related SSO capabilities\nZendesk Certification(s)\nPlease note that Zendesk can only hire candidates who are physically located and plan to work from Karnataka or Maharashtra.
