Beyond management of the Accounting team, the Manager, Accounting participates in the development and maintenance of a system of internal controls and accounting systems to help the organization mitigate risk, safeguard assets, enhance accuracy of company reported financial results, and comply with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.\n\"Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role.\"\nKeyDutiesandResponsibilities\nManages and oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department including:\nMonth and year-end processing\nReviews of journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations prepared by Accountants\nManages, develops and trains the Accounting team\nPerforms monthly Revenue review and accrual analysis\nLeads the coordination and process of the company’s Annual Audit of Financials\nAssists and review teams explanations of expenditure variance analysis\nFormally documents processes and procedures to strengthen and maintain internal controls\nTakes initiative to implement improvements and efficiencies on a continuous basis\nAssigns projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy\nMonitors and analyzes financial accounting data and create ADHOC reports\nIntegration of accounting processes and billing cycle as part of M&A strategy.\nPreparing GAAP compliance memos\nAssists with preparing Annual Consolidated Financial Statement\nPerforms payroll and benefits analytics\nSupports Tax activities\nSupports strategic initiatives for margin optimization\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nMinimumQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field\n7-10 years of Accounting experience\n3-5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a complex accounting unit\nActive CPA license or in the process of obtaining in near-term\nIn-depth understanding of GAAP principles and standards\nAdvanced computer skills on MS Office (including excel), accounting software and databases\nAbility to manipulate large amounts of data\nProficiency in best practices related to corporate accounting and possesses a quantifiable track record of success in high-accountability, fast-paced organizations\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nPossesses the knowledge, skills, and ability to manage a complex department, within the boundaries of the company’s mission, vision, and core values\nExceptional written and verbal communications skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.\nAbility to effectively coach, develop, and manage a successful team\nHands-on leadership style and ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve well-respected standards and goals\nPreferredQualifications\nExcellent organizational skills\nExcellent time management skills\nAbility to prioritize activities and manage competing demands\nExceptional work ethic\nCapacity to think strategically\nDemonstrates integrity in the workplace\nSelf-motivated, self-starting personality, and hands on\n*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee of this job.
