features, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable GIS solutions that meet client needs.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and enhance IT applications by implementing new features, troubleshooting live issues to identify root causes, and delivering effective solutions.\nDesign and develop new IT applications based on detailed specifications to meet business requirements.\nPerform iterative prototyping to introduce and improve features within the core system.\nConduct design, programming, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality and functionality.\nSupport users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing guidance and resolving issues.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and system changes.\nDevelop and execute unit tests and end-to-end test scripts to validate new features and prevent regression.\nMaintain and update automated test scripts using Jenkins to support continuous integration.\nTroubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, developing automated test cases to prevent recurrence.\nCoordinate deployment of enhancements and fixes to testing and production environments within agreed timelines.\nCollaborate effectively with end users, server administrators, database administrators, and system analysts to support IT systems.\nRequired competencies and certifications\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 3 years of relevant working experience with demonstrated skills in:\nJavaScript/TypeScript (ES5/ES6) for client-side web application development.\nReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, and jQuery frameworks for building interactive user interfaces.\nHTML5 and CSS for web page structure and styling.\nAJAX and JSON for asynchronous data exchange.\nNPM for package management.\nASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC for server-side web application development.\nC# programming for backend logic implementation.\nArcGIS JavaScript API and ArcGIS Server REST API for GIS web services.\nGeoServer and PostGIS for spatial data management and services.\nPostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle databases for data storage and retrieval.\nGit version control for source code management.\nStrong communication skills to manage stakeholder interactions effectively.\nProven ability to collaborate within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.\nCapability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to meet deadlines.\nPreferred competencies and qualifications\nExperience developing applications using Microsoft Azure Cloud and/or AWS Cloud platforms.\nFamiliarity with open-source technologies such as Node.js, Leaflet, GeoServer, PostgreSQL, and PostGIS.\nKnowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts including spatial analysis and map projections using ESRI
