They support clients with staff augmentation for long-term projects across IT companies, consulting firms, system integrators, government agencies, and multinational corporations.\n\nJob Description: Systems Analyst (Java)\n\nResponsibilities\nGather and analyse user requirements and translate them into functional and technical application specifications. \nAnalyse, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain application systems and web-based applications. \nPerform database design, system integration, and quality assurance to ensure applications meet business requirements. \nPrepare technical documentation, troubleshoot application issues, and work closely with users, project teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.\nQualifications and Experience\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis, application and database design, software development, implementation, testing, and quality assurance. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently in gathering user requirements and translating them into application specifications.\nVendor management experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams are also required.\nTechnical Skills and Technologies\nProgramming Languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, and Python. Knowledge of MVS Job Control Language (JCL) is advantageous.\nFrameworks and Technologies: Spring Framework (Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Web), Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate, Angular/AngularJS, Node.js, and Service Component Architecture (SCA).\nApplication Development and Architecture Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Responsive Web Design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), RESTful Web Services, AJAX, and web-based application development.\nDevelopment Tools and IDEs: Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio Code (VS Code), and web-based Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).\nApplication Servers and Web Servers: JBoss Application Server (WildFly), WebSphere, Apache HTTP Server, and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).\nDatabases: IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle.\nPlatforms and Operating Systems: Red Hat Linux, Windows, Unix (Solaris), and mainframe environments, including MVS, OS/390, and z/OS.\nMainframe Development Tools: IBM Rational Developer for z Systems (RDz) and IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz).\nTesting and Business Rules: Software testing tools and rules engines.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in Pega application development, including Pega Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Pega frameworks, and PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC), is an advantage. \nExperience with Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) or equivalent enterprise application frameworks, front-end technologies such as jQuery or Struts, and persistence frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA is preferred. \nFamiliarity with
