This position is also responsible for handling and completing all assigned service work as defined by assigned Service Work Authorizations by performing the following duties.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n100% travel required.\n\nInstalls, maintenance, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment in the field to ensure optimum usage and quality.\n\nRelies on pre-established guidelines and works independently to perform the functions and duties of the position.\n\nPrioritize tasks and make decisions within guidelines\n\nFinancial performance \nInstalls projects within estimated costs.\n\nAccounts for all material consumed whether from a job lot or service inventory.\n\nManages and coordinates subcontractor as required.\n\nProfessional presentation \nMaintains a professional appearance.\n\nAdheres to dress code standards.\n\nEnsures written and verbal communication is professional.\n\nMaintains professional relationship with customer.\n\nMeets schedules and deadlines and keep commitments.\n\nDocumentation\nSubmits all documentation in a timely fashion.\n\nSubmits timely and accurate time sheets and expense reports.\n\nEnsures information is adequate for cost control and billing.\n\nPromptly submits completed Service Work Authorizations.\n\nPromptly submits completed installation project reports.\n\nProblem solving\nIdentifies and resolves problems with the quality of equipment and/or software.\n\nIdentifies and resolves problems with the perception of the customer and peers.\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nQUALIFICATIONS: \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: \nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPreferred Experience:\nElectrical\n\nPlumbing\n\nPipe fitting related gas plumbing\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\nREASONING ABILITY:\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order Processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.\nOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nPlumbing and electrical experience\n\nProperty maintenance/service background\n\nTime management skills\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nMechanically inclined and a high degree of technical aptitude\n\nKnowledge of power and hand tools\n\nMust be able to troubleshoot equipment to determine what should be repaired/replaced\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
