Software Engineer - Payments & AI
Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Java developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and Payments (GPP) who can also leverage Python and Generative AI technologies to build innovative AI-powered capabilities for our Payments product. This role combines deep product knowledge with modern AI development.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to the GPP Payments product architecture and business workflows.
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Build and maintain backend services, integrations, and messaging solutions.
- Develop AI-powered use cases using Python, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI frameworks.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing Payments products to improve productivity, automation, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and business teams to identify and implement high-value AI opportunities.
- Follow SDLC best practices, coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java, J2EE, Core Java
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Hibernate, JPA
- REST APIs & Microservices
- SQL, Kafka, MQ/JMS
- Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito
- Strong understanding of Payments/GPP domain.
- Good programming experience in Python.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Azure/AWS/GCP.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience delivering AI use cases in enterprise products.
- Knowledge of Semantic Search, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
