Our fully owned network infrastructure, resident-first support model, and tailored technology stack enable us to offer a refreshingly different alternative to legacy providers-one rooted in simplicity, reliability, and satisfaction.\nRole Overview\nThe Network Deployment Technician, as part of the Field Operations team, plays a crucial role in Zentro’s success by supporting our Residential and Commercial MDU Construction efforts. The Network Deployment Technician is responsible for the day-to-day build-out, operation, and maintenance of Zentro’s Residential and Commercial customer services.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: \nConstructs network infrastructure facilities to company standards and specifications at the direction of the Lead Network Deployment Technician.\nAbility to build out closets and dress bundles of cables in closet, with direction of Lead\nAble to install racks/brackets, with the direction of the Lead\nPhysical instillation of network equipment (racking and stacking)\nReviews, interprets and works with various cut sheets, drawings, blueprints and testing documents\nConstructing & setting antenna mounts. \nAccurately test copper cables to the required certification\nPhysically install Cat3, Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6A Structured Cable Distribution Systems\nInstallation of Network wall jack/plate, pulling cable, fire stopping and pre-termination, including organizing, forming, dressing and labeling cables to industry standards\nKeep records of repairs and fixes for future reference\nMaintain and reference industry standards, including ANSI,EIA/TIA and local and Low Voltage Code\nMust be able to adhere to the On-Call Schedule\nSkills and QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required\nTrade School is a plus\n\nExperiencePrevious experience in a related or similar technical field. Telecom, construction, network service provided experience preferred.\n\n Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to drive to office and job sites\n\nHold and maintain a valid driver's license\nAble to pass drug screening and background check\nPossess a high level of independent judgment within established procedures\nAbility to read, review, interpret and understand technical documents.\nAbility to work varying shifts and hours including: possible mandatory overtime, weekends, nights and holidays\nWorking knowledge of using hand and power tools\nAbility to work respectively with others and work independently\nAbility to complete designated amount of work in a specified time frame (quality jobs per day), adjusting work assignments or schedules to meet changing work-related priorities or demands\nAbility to climb and work at elevations from (ladders, poles, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feet\nAbility to work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, utility holes)\nAbility to perform strenuous physical activities including, but not limited to: lifting objects weighing over 70 pounds\nAbility to perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather)\nCompensation$26-$31/hour, depending on skill and experience\nHealth, Dental, and Vision benefits;
