Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise production associates, develop team members, coach, motivate and train associates to high performance levels in a manufacturing environment.
- Lead lean processes and continuous improvement.
- Resolve production line issues and troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain accurate account of production metrics and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Cross-train in other functional areas in order to support the manufacturing facility for special projects and assignments.
- May flex between shifts, as needed.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.
- Three to Five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work additional overtime hours when needed.
- Microsoft Office Computer Skills
- Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.
