The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in embedded C development, a passion for engineering excellence, and a collaborative approach to solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop embedded software for ZeroAvia's controller platform.\nProduce requirements, design, implementation, and tests for software components.\nEnsure software life cycle data produced are in accordance with development processes and procedures.\nPerform hardware/software integration for debugging, verification, and release of software.\nContribute improvements to internal procedure and standards.\nRequired Experience & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline (or equivalent knowledge and experience).\n8+ years of experience in software development life cycle, at least 5 years of which within aerospace (DO-178B/C) or other safety-critical domain.\nProficiency in embedded C and familiarity with MISRA C standards.\nExperience in bare-metal programming with microcontrollers.\nKnowledge of software architecture and/or software testing methods.\nPerform requirement analysis and flow down to software and detail design.\nDesirable:\nKnowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, and I²C.\nProficiency with requirements management and configuration management tools.\nExperience of model-based development using MATLAB Simulink.\nWorking knowledge with ARM microcontrollers.\nUnderstanding of control systems development.\nBasic understanding of electronics and ability to read schematics.\nExperience in certification programmes and in compliance demonstrations.\nExperience in scripting languages like Python would be an added advantage. \nBenefits\nWhy Join Us?\nWe want to help you be your best self, at work and at home, that’s why we provide our employees with…\nPrivate health and dental care - get access to services and support when you need them.
