We're all about delivering practical, field-tested tech, not just theories.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe Assembly Technician & Light Machinist will be responsible for the precise assembly of electro-mechanical components and the operation of light machining equipment to produce parts for our advanced counter-drone systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.\nAssembly:\nPerform precise assembly of complex electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\n\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.\n\nConduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.\n\nMaintain accurate records of assembly progress, materials used, and quality control data.\n\nMachining:\nOperate light machining equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines, drills) to produce and modify components from various materials.\n\nRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining operations.\n\nSet up and adjust machining parameters, including feeds, speeds, and tool selection.\n\nPerform routine maintenance on machinery and tooling.\n\nInspect machined parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface finish using precision measuring instruments.\n\nGeneral:\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product design.\n\nAdhere to all safety regulations and best practices in the workshop.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
