What's the role?\nBased in Bologna, the Quality Claims Specialist is an integral part of the European Quality team and reports to the Quality Claims lead. The role is responsible to carry out claim inspections across Europe with reference to Italy and its neighboring countries according to Zespri Global Procedures. The primary purpose of this position is to promote quality across customers in order to reduce the cost of quality.\nPlease take note that this is a 12 months fixed term opportunity.\nAccountabilities\nConduct customer-level inspections in accordance with Zespri procedures\nConduct supply-level inspection in accordance with Zespri procedures\nCollect results and feedback while fostering strong customer relationship \nCollect quality market results to provide feedback to EU suppliers\nSchedule the visits to carry out claim inspection efficiently \nProvide the team with inspection outcomes, quality results, and reports\nFollow up and report on quality issues identified by outturn reports or customer complaints/claims if necessary\nSupport projects beyond claim inspections, including product audit and quality assurance initiative\nQuality and claims data analysis to monitor trends\nOffer assistance to the wider ZGS Italy team when required.\nKo wai koe? Who are you?\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance and/or claims inspection, with a strong understanding of common pest identification and quality standards. You will also bring:\nAn agricultural or scientific background.\nSound working knowledge of Power BI.\nProfessional proficiency in Italian and English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.\nA valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel nationally and internationally within the EU.\nFlexibility and willingness to travel across Italy and Europe as required.\nFlexibility around working hours, particularly during the main season, with availability by phone and email when required.\nStrong written communication and reporting skills, with excellent attention to detail when documenting inspections and monitoring quality standards.\nStrong customer communication and relationship skills, including the ability to explain technical and quality-related information clearly, discuss concerns with clients, and collaboratively identify solutions.\nStrong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to assess information, identify root causes of quality issues, and contribute to improvements in quality control measures.\nHe aha e tika ai a Zespri?
