The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls while providing accurate financial reporting and commission administration. \nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Ledger (GL) Accounting\nPrepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies.\nMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.\nPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.\nAnalyze account balances and investigate variances.\nPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.\nAssist with financial reporting and audit requirements.\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.\nSupport process improvement initiatives and automation projects.\nCommissions Administration\nCalculate sales commissions, incentives, and bonus payouts accurately and on time.\nReview commission plans and validate commission calculations.\nReconcile commission accruals and payments.\nInvestigate and resolve commission-related discrepancies and inquiries.\nPrepare commission reports for management and sales teams.\nMaintain commission data and documentation.\nCollaborate with Sales, HR, Payroll, and Finance teams regarding commission programs.\nReporting & Analysis\nGenerate periodic financial and commission reports.\nMonitor trends and identify unusual transactions or payment variances.\nSupport budgeting and forecasting related to commission expenses.\nProvide ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. \n2-5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting and/or commission accounting.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nCompany Summary\nZeta Global is a data-powered marketing technology company with a heritage of innovation and industry leadership.
