The position is based in Ruiru and requires on-site work.\n\nJob Objective\n\nThey are seeking a strategic, forward thinking, industry connected, and student centric Tutorial Fellow with entrepreneurial acumen to foster teaching, research and innovation ecosystems. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the capability to bridge and academia and grow graduate employability while ensuring sustainability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTo teach Pharmacology Units allocated by the Head of Department.\n\nDesigning, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.\n\nDelivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions.\n\nReviewing pharmacology course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.\n\nCollaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.\n\nCarrying out research and writing research grant proposals.\n\nSeeking and participating in consultancies.\n\nDissemination of research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums and webinars.\n\nProviding mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.\n\nAny other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed job description;\n\nQualification and experience\n\nHold a Masters degree in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics/ Industrial Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry/ Pharmacognosy/ Clinical Pharmacy from an accredited/ recognized University.\n\nA Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from an accredited/ recognized University.\n\nAt least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.\n\nDemonstrate potential for university teaching, research and community extension.\n\nHave a commitment to
