code.\nFollow established coding standards, design patterns, and software development best practices.\nWrite thorough unit tests for newly developed code and contribute to maintaining overall application quality.\nParticipate actively in code reviews, incorporating feedback and ensuring simplicity, readability, and quality of implementation.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues with guidance from senior engineers.\nWork with databases, particularly MongoDB, including basic database modeling and data operations.\nUse developer tools such as Git, Postman, Chrome DevTools, and IDEs effectively during development and debugging.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar tools to improve development efficiency while maintaining code quality and understanding.\nContribute to technical documentation and follow engineering processes to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions.\nRequirements:\n0-1 years of experience in software development, internships, academic projects, or equivalent hands-on experience.\nBasic to intermediate experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.\nUnderstanding of database modeling and hands-on exposure to MongoDB.\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and basic backend development concepts.\nProficiency with developer tools such as Git, Postman, Chrome DevTools, and VS Code/other IDEs.\nAbility to write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and logical reasoning skills.\nAbility to effectively use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc., as development productivity tools.\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.\nHigh ownership, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong programming fundamentals and a passion for software engineering.\nSomeone who enjoys building, experimenting, debugging, and learning\nAbility to use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate development rather than relying on them without understanding the underlying code.\nA proactive individual who takes ownership, asks the right questions, and works well within a collaborative engineering team.\nNice to Have:\nHands-on experience with AWS, particularly deploying or monitoring Node.js applications using services such as EC2 ALB, S3 and CloudWatch\nBasic experience with Angular 2+ and component-based web UI development.\nExposure to enterprise-grade software development, including scalable, secure, modular, and performant applications.\nUnderstanding of production environments, error handling, logging, monitoring, and application performance.\nExposure to CI/CD, cloud deployment, or DevOps
