The role uses operational, financial, and customer data to identify where performance is constraining revenue, implement practical solutions, and establish repeatable processes that remain in place after the OGT engagement. The Operations Lead partners with hub leadership, sales, service, installation, and other functional teams to ensure growth opportunities can be effectively sold, scheduled, delivered, and sustained.\nThe Operations Lead will be deployed to one to two hubs at a time based on identified growth opportunities. The role focuses on improving the operational execution required to support RMR, service, RVM, Core Four, and cross-sell growth.\nThe OGT operates as a small, semi-autonomous team that deploys together to priority Zeus hubs to accelerate identified organic growth opportunities. The OGT is the Operations Lead’s first team; the primary source of direction, standards, and accountability; even as the role works day-to-day embedded within, and in close partnership with, hub leadership. The Operations Lead operates with significant autonomy and influence, working alongside local teams rather than replacing hub operational leadership. The role is accountable for driving measurable improvements in capacity, productivity, and execution while building capabilities that the hub can sustain after the OGT engagement concludes.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nIdentify Growth Opportunities\nUse operational, financial, and customer data to identify performance gaps that are limiting organic revenue growth.\nAssess service productivity, installation throughput, technician utilization, scheduling, backlog, staffing, and capacity to identify specific revenue opportunities.\nQuantify the revenue impact of operational constraints and prioritize opportunities based on size, feasibility, and customer impact.\nIdentify underperforming branches, service lines, teams, and processes where targeted intervention can unlock growth.\nRemove Operational Barriers \nPartner with Sales and hub leadership to ensure the organization has the capacity to convert and execute new sales and cross-sell opportunities.\nIdentify and resolve constraints in staffing, scheduling, installation, service, and technician deployment that limit revenue.\nImprove sales-to-operations handoffs, project throughput, service capacity, and technician utilization.\nEnsure operations are prepared to support new services and Core Four offerings.\nDrive Results \nLead targeted growth initiatives with clear objectives, owners, timelines, and metrics.\nEstablish baselines and track leading and lagging indicators to measure the impact of each initiative.\nUse performance data to identify root causes, adjust actions, and hold teams accountable for results.\nMeasure impact through revenue growth, productivity, capacity, backlog reduction, customer retention, and other defined business outcomes.\nScale Successful Practices \nIdentify operating practices that produce measurable growth or productivity improvements.\nPartner with hub and functional leaders to standardize and implement proven practices across the organization.\nDevelop practical playbooks, tools, and processes that can be replicated across hubs.\nShare performance insights and lessons learned to continuously improve the OGT growth model.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field.\n7+ years of progressive operations, service, installation, branch, or field leadership experience.\nDemonstrated track record of improving operational performance and business results.\nExperience in fire, security, field services, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction), commercial construction, or another operationally complex service environment strongly preferred.\nStrong understanding of service and installation operations.\nExperience managing geographically dispersed or field-based teams.\nDemonstrated ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.\nStrong financial and analytical capabilities, including understanding of revenue, productivity, utilization, and margin drivers.\nAbility to influence local leadership and drive change without relying solely on direct authority.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nExperience leading cross-functional initiatives in a multi-location environment.\nExperience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or high-growth organizations preferred.\nWillingness to travel extensively and work directly within assigned hubs.\nStandard work hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to support business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.\nWORK REQUIREMENTS\nWith or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
