This role will establish a proactive safety culture, drive measurable improvements in safety performance, reduce operational risk, and create sustainable processes that support business growth and value creation.\nAs Zeus continues to scale through organic growth and acquisitions, this role will build the safety infrastructure necessary to support a growing multi-location organization. This leader will assess current safety performance, identify gaps, implement standardized programs, develop accountability systems, and partner with leaders to embed safety into everyday decision-making.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnterprise Safety Strategy \nDevelop and execute enterprise safety strategy aligned with business growth, operational priorities, and value creation objectives. \nEstablish a consistent safety operating model across all locations, including standards, processes, metrics, and accountability. \nAssess current safety performance, identify critical risks, and create a roadmap to improve safety outcomes. \nServe as enterprise safety advisor to executive and operational leadership. \nDesign, implement, and continuously improve enterprise safety programs, including:\nSafety Program Development \nSafety policies and procedures \nField safety standards and job hazard assessments \nIncident reporting and investigation processes \nNear-miss reporting \nTraining programs \nVehicle, PPE, and contractor safety standards \nOSHA compliance programs \nEstablish scalable safety processes, tools, and playbooks that support growth. \nDevelop safety dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into performance, trends, and risk. \nTrack leading and lagging indicators, including incidents, claims, training completion, audits, and corrective actions. \nProvide insights and recommendations to improve safety performance and business outcomes.\nConduct safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate risk.\nSafety Culture & Operational Partnership\nPartner with operational leaders to embed safety into daily decision-making and field execution. \nBuild accountability through clear expectations, coaching, communication, and training. \nDevelop safety engagement initiatives, including toolbox talks and recognition programs. \nDrive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action management.\nAcquisition Integration & Value Creation\nPartner with M&A to assess safety maturity, risks, and opportunities during due diligence. \nIntegrate acquired companies into Zeus safety standards and operating practices. \n· Build repeatable safety processes that support platform scalability and value creation.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Business, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or professional safety certification preferred.\n7+ years of progressive safety leadership experience, preferably within field service, construction, fire and security, electrical, HVAC, or similar industries.\nStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, risk mitigation practices, and workplace safety standards.\nProven track record of developing and implementing enterprise safety programs that improve performance, reduce risk, and drive cultural change.\nExperience leading cross-functional initiatives in a multi-location environment.\nStrong communication, coaching, and training skills, with the ability to translate safety requirements into practical solutions for employees and leaders.\nAbility to analyze safety data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes.\nExperience managing multiple priorities, projects, and initiatives while maintaining focus on critical safety objectives.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nExperience developing safety metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes to support leadership decision-making.\nAbility to build strong partnerships and influence across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership, operations teams, and field employees. \nExperience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or high-growth organizations preferred.\nStandard work hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to support business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.\nWORK REQUIREMENTS\nWith or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
