The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application-specific solutions for a variety of automotive steering, braking, suspension, and chassis components. Continued growth in our Santa Rosa office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team.\nWhat you can look forward to as the Application Engineer:\nSupport project from concept to launch.\nCoordinate engineering activities to deliver products designed to meet customer requirements.\nDefine and agree on project scope with customer and manage project to agreed scope.\nSupport customer approval of the PPAP.\nZF technical lead for the customer regarding the overall project. Primary technical interface with ZF customers on brake control projects.\nMaintain engineering timing to meet customer key milestones.\nParticipate in design for manufacturing reviews with ZF manufacturing sites.\nParticipate in DFMEA and PFMEA reviews.\nSupport vehicle testing.\nYour profile as an Application Engineer:\nMinimum of bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field. \nMinimum of 3 years of automotive product engineering experience working in product design and development with a preferred focus on brake controls design and/or vehicle brake development.\nFamiliar with OEM component design and release system including other chassis components (steering, suspension, etc).\nComputer literate utilizing data spreadsheets and word processing.
