The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application-specific solutions for a variety of automotive steering, braking, suspension, and chassis components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team.\nWhat you can look forward to as the Brake Controls Design Engineer:\nMechanical/Hydraulic product design of components and assemblies for automotive braking\nPrepare designs in-line with internal and external requirements, specifications, and guidelines\nProvide technical interface with customer engineering\nCreation and appraisal of concepts\nCreate specifications for new components/systems thatmeet internal/external requirements\nDocument designs and other associated processes\nPerform detailed engineering analysis such as tolerance plans, DFMEA, product performance predictions, etc.\nCoordinate duties with other departments, customers, suppliers, etc.\nCommunicate and coordinate with project teams\nManage/support supplier component engineering processes and delivery\nMeet internal/external project milestones\nYour profile as the Brake Controls Design Engineer:\nBachelors of Science in Engineering or related field.\n4+ Years of relevant experience preferred.\nKnowledge and experience with Catia V, testing, data analysis.\nBasic knowledge of design review process.\nExperience/knowledge of engineering principles as related to brake systems and mechatronic systems.\nBasic computer skills, including working knowledge of industry standard word processing and spreadsheet software (MS Word and MS Excel).\nBusiness-fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.\nWhy to choose ZF?
