The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.\nWhat you can look forward to as Commodity Buyer - Passives & Relays：\nManage purchasing prices for assigned commodities and suppliers, identify sourcing and bundling opportunities to achieve cost reduction targets while adhering to established sourcing processes.\nEnsure accurate pricing and sourcing information is maintained in applicable ERP systems, and track supplier negotiations, agreements, costs, and status updates.\nPrepare and support contract negotiations and sourcing activities for globally managed suppliers, taking the lead role for assigned suppliers and competitive sourcing initiatives.\nAnalyze supply markets and conduct market research to identify industry trends, benchmark costs, and recommend supplier additions, removals, or nominations to strategic supplier lists.\nDevelop and support commodity and part-family sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and total cost management initiatives.\nManage supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery, and drive resolution of issues in accordance with the established escalation model.\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard optimal suppliers through effective sourcing methodologies, cost structure analysis, and compliance with company procurement policies.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, support cross-functional team objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.\nYour Profile as Commodity Buyer - Passives & Relays：\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 years of purchasing or sourcing experience in electronic components, including commodity management, supplier management, and procurement-related activities.\nExperience in supplier evaluation, bidding processes, contract management, and commercial negotiations.\nKnowledge of purchasing practices, sourcing methodologies, supplier development, and project management tools (e.g., APQP).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and cost management skills with attention to detail.\nProficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a global environment.\nAutomotive industry experience and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are preferred.\nWhy you should choose ZF in Shanghai?\nIndividual Growth: At ZF, you accelerate your career by working together across borders and cultures.
