IF YOU REQUIRE ANY FORM OF VISA SPONSORSHIP OR ANY IMMIGRATION SUPPORT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.\nWhat you can look forward to as a Controls Engineer:\nAcquires and analyzes data to define problems and determine the results of changes.\nUses pareto analysis to refine data into actionable plans.\nSolves acute and chronic equipment reliability issues using physics, engineering principles, and technology.\nReads solutions across to like equipment / component applications.\nDevelops process and equipment documentation. Trains maintenance and operations personnel on new processes, materials, and equipment. \nDocuments equipment changes; mechanical, electrical, controls.\nLead new technology development with emphasis in continuous improvement and benchmarking cost & reliability. Focused on automation of new and current processes, maintaining a lean manufacturing mindset.\nCapable of managing controls networking if required.\nHands-on timely completion of small - large scale projects designed to eliminate waste.\nInterfaces and manages contractor support.\nImplements company goals within a team structure and as an individual. \nTrains maintenance technicians on technology and root cause analysis (RCA) process.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nComply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.All employees are expected to adhere to and promote ZF’s commitment to quality, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects in all aspects of their role.\nYour profile as a Controls Engineer:\nBachelor’s degree in an engineering field with a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCapable of reading mechanical CAD drawings with understanding drafting principles.\nCapable of reading electrical schematics and writing program code using Rockwell (preferred), Siemens and other controls platform.\nStrong electrical / Rockwell (preferred), Siemens and other controls aptitude and hands-on capability.\nExperience in the development and execution of designed experiments (DOE’s).\nTeam leadership and project management skills, and the capability to communicate and influence others.\nExperience utilizing Problem solving and decision-making tools.\nTraining in Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma with practical experience is preferred.\nExperience in Poke-Yoke equipment and processes.\nStrong experience with robot programming, Stäubli (preferred) and Universal robotics.\nLean manufacturing mindset.
