The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application-specific solutions for a variety of automotive steering, braking, suspension, and chassis components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team.\nWhat you can look forward to as the ET&V Supervisor:\nProvide overall leadership for the ET&V labs, coordinating site-wide test activities, priorities, resources, and operational needs across applicable test functions.\nLead the development and implementation of ET&V lab infrastructure and equipment in coordination with local and global suppliers, ensuring technical requirements, schedules, and budgets are achieved.\nLead activities required to obtain and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and applicable customer/OEM laboratory approvals for the Monterrey ET&V site.\nAssign work, balance staffing needs, and identify training and employee development opportunities.\nCollaborate closely with other global ZF ET&V locations to implement standardized processes, procedures, methodologies, and operational best practices.\nDrive execution of ET&V projects, testing activities, and related departmental responsibilities to meet business and customer commitments.\nDevelop cost estimates and resource requirements for current and future business needs.\nDevelop and manage capital investment plans, departmental budgets, staffing, and other resources required to support laboratory operations.\nPrepare technical proposals and responses to customer requirements. Perform risk assessments and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.\nIdentify and implement cost-reduction and operational-efficiency initiatives.\nEstablish and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment, including implementation of applicable safety and 5S standards.\nYour profile as a Supervisor:\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related technical field.\n10+ years of professional experience within a test, validation, or quality organization, including significant hands-on experience in a laboratory or test environment.\nStrong working knowledge of automotive electronic component test and validation requirements.\nFamiliarity with test specifications from major automotive OEMs and applicable international standards, including ISO, ASTM, SAE, CISPR, IEC, and DIN.\nPractical understanding of automotive test equipment, laboratory infrastructure, and test procedures in the areas of climatic/environmental, mechanical, electrical, and EMC testing.\nDemonstrated project management and technical leadership experience.\nStrong understanding of operational and capital budgeting, including the ability to develop business cases supporting laboratory investment and resource needs.\nAbility to manage multiple complex projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.\nBusiness-fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.\nAbility to translate complex technical topics into clear, concise, and effective visual presentations.\nAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.\nStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.\nWhy to choose ZF?
